Bayil Residence

A large residence in Bayil, on the hill above Baku Bay, furnished entirely in ivory and gold. Panelled walls, arched doorways and a long formal dining table set the scale of the reception rooms.

Carved sofas and armchairs in champagne silk fill the salons. Upstairs, the bedrooms change tone, with blush damask walls, gilded headboards and matching commodes, vanities and wardrobes.
